**Removable dentures** replace one, several or all teeth and, as the name says, you can take them out to clean them. They're an accessible, versatile solution.

## Main types

- **Partial removable denture**: replaces some teeth and attaches to the natural teeth you still have.
- **Complete denture**: replaces all the teeth of an arch when no pieces remain.

## Common materials

They can be **acrylic**, with a metal framework (thinner and stronger) or **flexible** (more comfortable and aesthetic, with no visible metal clasps). The choice depends on your case and budget.

## Who are they ideal for?

They're a good option when several teeth are missing, when a fixed treatment isn't possible or desired, or as a transitional solution while planning an implant. They restore function to chew and speak, and improve aesthetics.

> A well-fitted denture restores the confidence to eat, speak and smile.

## Advantages and considerations

Their main advantage is the **lower initial cost** and that no surgery is required. As a counterpart, they must be removed to clean and there may be an adaptation period. A good fit is key to comfort.

## Frequently asked questions

Modern ones, especially flexible and metal-framed, achieve a very natural look.

### Do I sleep with the denture on?

It's generally recommended to remove it at night to rest the tissues and clean it; follow your specialist's advice.

### Can I eat everything?

With adaptation, yes to most foods; at first it's best to start with small pieces and soft textures.

### Recover your complete smile
